2022 Results

We're growing & delivering results.

In 2022, Cheswell PAC raised slightly over $55,000, representing an 8% increase in fundraising over our inaugural cycle. Since the 2020 cycle, we have increased our overall donor base 75%, while also doubling our total number of small donors ($200 or less).

At the ballot box, we won 19 of 20 races supporting conservative Republicans in 2020, and in 2022, we won 12 wins to 1 loss in the general election, and 6 of 6 in our GOP primary races, defeating two moderate-liberal Republicans.

The Mary Cheswell PAC Mission

Our goal is to secure a functional conservative majority in state government.   With financial resources and plentiful experience, we will support candidates that understand the Constitution and are willing to use the powers granted to them by election — candidates that will promote the rule of law and limits on government.

What's In A Name?

Wentworth Cheswell was the grandson of an indentured black laborer from Exeter, New Hampshire.  He is considered to be the first descendent of slavery to hold elected office in the United States.  A Revolutionary War veteran, Cheswell served as Constable, Assessor, and Justice of the Peace in Newmarket.  He rode with Paul Revere in December, 1774, to warn of a British attack on Fort William & Mary.  However, our PAC is not named for Wentworth, but for his wife, Mary.  Wentworth received the support and guidance he needed to succeed from Mary, who provided a stable and lasting relationship and raised their thirteen children.  Mary Cheswell reflected the support and quiet commitment to service that is the backbone of the American Dream.  ChesPAC, in the tradition of Mary Cheswell, will be a force in the campaigns of our conservative New Hampshire candidates — in the background; quiet, steady, strong, lastingly, and with success.

2024 Goals

We’re optimistic that with your financial support and our past records of success that we can again increase the conservative Republican representation with candidates who understand our Constitutions and are willing to promote the rule of law and limits on government, that will campaign hard and effectively, and welcome the benefits of our independent efforts.

The board has agreed that one of our top priorities will be to recapture the Campton state house seat that Mark Alliegro held.
